Becoming Cyber Savvy

Today, I (Miss Kwok) completed an induction on digital immersion. I learned that our Google sites and blogs allow us to learn, create and share our knowledge, which is proven to accelerate learning. I especially enjoyed reading through the Cybersmart Curriculum - there are many valuable and interesting activities that our students will get to experience this year! My favourite part was reading this digital learning object (http://edhillroseenaf.blogspot.com/2020/10/stop-think-smart.html), created by a student at Edmund Hillary School. The images are beautifully designed using pop art elements. Most of all, it gives us clear steps on how to deal cyberbullying. I am confident that Kauri Hub students will become smarter, more confident online users as well.

Click on the link above. What have you learned from this digital learning object?
