Tyler the fig was sqwishy and disgusting. it felt like a gulova and it looked like it had guts in side. it was slimy and hard to open. it tasted salty and bitter. it was also kinda sour.
Hi I'm Keeva. This morning we tried a Mysterious food. Nobody knew what it was. I had never tried it before and it looked strange. Mushy, smooth, fleshy and juicy are some words to describe it. I was a little nervous because I didn't know what to expect. Everyone was asking if it was poisonous or toxic. The teachers laughed and reassured everyone it was completely harmless. She told us to close our eyes and she said that she will pass around an object an all of the Kauri hub had to feel what was the object that Miss Hudson had pass around.Soon when the object came around to me I felt scared cause I didn't know what the object was,but when I felt the object it felt like something squishy,and when I passed it on to someone else i sniffed my hands and it smelt like a vegetable.When Miss Hudson said all of us can open our eyes we saw the squishy item and the the item was a fig,a fig looks like a pomegranate on the inside but on the outside it looked like a seed.We also got to taste the fig,When I tasted the fig it tasted like a watermelon, I didn't want to eat it at first but I was hungry so i had a taste and it sweet.At the end we got to see some images of the fig on the TV.I was very grateful to eat that fig. Hi it's Stephanie, I tasted this strange food and taste juicy and a bit cherry! I loved it so much I would eat ten! hi my name is kellan the strange brain like insides of that strange food was fascinating and it looked like it had roots and it had roots. the red jelly like substance had seeds in it and had the roots (it looked like roots ) coming out of the bottom. my friends tasted this strange food (i didn't taste it ) my friend says he doesn't like the strange food but the teacher told us it was a fig!. my friend said he likes the African figs better because he is south African and he was born there.the teacher told us figs grow on tree's and are made into fig jam and all sorts of yummy delicious treats for all of us to eat.

It tasted like a watermelon but a very gross version of it. it tasted very juicy and just very gross. It smelt like a fruit off a tree and a cucumber. I would rate this fruit 3/10 because it was not that good. it looked very red, dark red and a little pink to go with it. In the inside it smelt like a cappsicum and it was a light pink, it looked really weird because of all the seeds.The taste of the strange food was new and weird, I didn't like it though,the texture in my mouth was seedy and it almost tasted like jam but not like a stawberry one.

ReplyDeleteToday we tried a new fruit that Miss Hudson made us eat first she told us to close our eyes and fell the new fruit it felt squishy,weird and it was small then she said open our eyes we had to look at the fruit from far away some of us said purple,cracks,shaped like an egg then we got in a pair and we had to crack it open. before we cracked it open we guessed what it was it was a fig. When we cracked it open it looked like meat and it smelt disgusting then Miss Hudson made us eat it to me it tasted weird to others it tasted good that is why people at the whole thing.

Everybody described how it felt when it was passed to them. To me it felt squishy, cold, wet and wrinkly. Everybody got a turn to hold it and describe it. Lot's of people thought it was squishy and lot's of people thought it was cold. After we had to open our eyes we saw a seed like fruits and nobody knew what it was. We got with a partner and split one of the mystery fruits in half and described what it looked like on the inside, I said it looked chunky and pink. We then each had a turn saying what it looked like from the inside. After that we tried it!. To me the skin tasted bitter and the inside tasted mushy and crunchy.
